Just 3.5hrs from Sydney and 1hr to Mudgee, Franks Breakaway Farmstay, offers history, tranquilityand spectacular scenery in a hidden valley surrounded from view and nestled at the foot of towering sandstone outcrops, this 600 acre farm occupies the end of a valley.

The farm backs on to Wollemi National Park and the famous Dunns Swamp is only a short distance away.

Accommodation is either a self-contained, 4 bedroom weatherboard farmhouse or 2 bedroom cottage constructed of local sandstone by Reg. Or if you prefer being one with nature, there is a secluded campsite complete with fireplace, BBQ and bathroom. There's plenty of clear area for tents and campervans and room for children to play and explore.

The Rock House was lovingly built by Reg from rocks gathered on the farm. The more intimate of the two cottages, it offers comfortable, tastefully decorated accommodation,ideal for couples or a family. Quality linen supplied.

Taste a little of what it's like to live on a farm with sheep, cattle, chooks and home grown fruit and vegetables. Cook your own meals or taste some of Jenny's wonderful country cooking, including her fabulous sticky date pudding and lemon soufflé (meals on request).
